Vehicle Designer. Engineer. Entrepreneur.

I am a vehicle designer and entrepreneur. I design conceptual aircraft, create photorealistic 3D renderings, and make products to improve our lives.

You Are What You Practice (And You're Practicing Right Now)

We always think that we can "defer" a decision or "wait" to practice something until we "have time". What we never remember until it's too late though, is that whatever you're doing right now IS your decision. If you want to get up early and you've been waking up late, guess what: you're practicing how to get up late. And guess what again: practicing gets easier to repeat the more you do it, so if you're putting up with you're own failure you will soon find yourself in a rut that you can't get out of. Soon enough you're convinced you can't do it, and you fall off the boat altogether.

This just reinforces one of the key aspects of the world's most motivated people.

Define your goals, and then do them. Don't wait. If you're not achieving the level you want, ask yourself why, and correct course until you are. Life is too short to convince yourself "it's just a bad time right now."

To help with this process, practice GRATITUDE for every action you take. And I'm not talking just a "thanks" for yourself, but let it fill your soul! I would rather be happy doing very little than doing a lot and not caring about any of it.

Fluff Ends Up in Trash Cans. Do Real Things.

The single scariest part of becoming an entrepreneur I've found is the very thing that draws me to it. The world isn't going to congratulate you, pay you, or even acknowledge you for coming up with something mediocre or incremental (unless you're a giant company with an established brand). You have to draw people in. And the way you do that is what I think is so important.
